Decking
Decking
A new deck for a seating area, a walkway through the garden or a replacement for an old deck that has had its day. Steps can be included where the deck sits above the lawn.
What the job covers
James builds new decking and replaces old decking. That can mean a simple area outside the back door, a deck with steps down to the garden or a path of decking through planting. If an old deck needs taking up first, removal of the old materials and waste is available as an option.
Decking often goes hand in hand with other work. If you are also thinking about new fencing or a pergola, mention it and everything can be quoted together.
Common reasons people get in touch
- An old deck has gone soft, slippery or unsafe
- You want a level place to sit or eat outside
- The garden slopes and needs a flat area with steps
- A tired corner of the garden needs a use
- The garden is being redone and the deck is part of the plan
